SPORT AND RECREATION ACTIVE INCLUSION PROGRAM

The club was successful in receiving funds earlier in 2012 from the Queensland government Sport and Recreation Active Inclusion program.  The funds are indicated to be used towards the volunteers of the club by pay for training courses, course material, uniforms and course trainers.  Roles like First Aid officers, Coaches, League Safe officers and referees are all required by the QRL to be trained using standard methods already set by QRL/ARL.  Our volunteers give their time to attend the courses and sometimes travel to out of town venues all to ensure that of Juniors and Seniors Rugby League players are provided with the best care and skills required for during training and game days.   This grant also allows the club to thank the mentioned volunteers at the end of year at a small celebration.
